Since my graduation from school I was allowed to make experiences in work outside Germany in Tanzania, Guatemala and Honduras as a volunteer and in a DTS with vocation and great joy.
After several years as a teacher in secondary schools, I was allowed to work in a DTS at JMeM in Costa Rica in 2019.
During this time I was able to realize that God has placed in me a great passion for Sustainable Development, Agriculture and Community Development Projects.
God says about His creation “It was very good.”
Nevertheless, malnutrition, water scarcity, famine or disease due to poor Hygiene everyday life for many people.
I am convinced that we can do something about these hardships if we use and steward creation as God intended.
Therefore, starting in 2021, I will be conducting sustainable development trainings in Costa Rica, Malawi and Kenya in collaboration with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Heredia. To do this, we will work with local partners on the ground as a team. I believe that a living relationship with God gives growth in all areas of our lives.
It is therefore fundamental to the success of our school that the positive development of a society can only be sustainable and life-changing on the basis of relationship with God. Therefore, the proclamation of the Gospel is always done in conjunction with the workshops. The participants of the trainings will learn how to use the resources that are locally resources (water, soil, kitchen waste, alternative energy sources…) in order to improve the living
to improve the standard of living of the communities. It is especially important to us that the participants learn how to not only apply their knowledge, but also how to pass it on.
