More than a paradise in the Mediterranean, Cyprus has a strategic position both geographically and spiritually.

The island is divided into the “Republic of Cyprus” and the “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus”, the latter not recognized internationally. While Cyprus is politically part of Europe, it is nevertheless located in the 10/40 window and geographically belongs to the Middle East.
A country suffering from division, in need of reconciliation and a springboard for mission in the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

We have been in Cyprus with our family since January 2009.

Jörn works at Kadosh Art, a prophetic art ministry that provides evangelism and training. Kadosh Art organizes hands-on outreaches with art, exhibitions, and workshops, as well as runs conferences and oversees an art project with Holocaust survivors in Israel.
Kadosh Art is networked with similar ministries in Germany and England.

In addition to teaching their younger children still living at home, Sheila works at Oasis, a local NGO in which various church congregations work together to care for refugees.
Sheila heads the ministry to pregnant women and mothers with babies. She does home visits and counseling and accompanies women in the hospital.
