We are the Bergmann family. Our names are Gerd and Rosi. We are happily married since 1996 and proud parents of Benjamin, Jonathan, Carina und Samuel.
We both received our call into missions when we were 18 years old.
Starting in January 1999 we have worked the last 21 years as full-time staff with Youth with a Mission.
For the first five years we were based in England.
We received training in the area of leadership development and staffed and led Discipleship Training Schools.
Between 2004-2020 we have lived and worked in Chile / South America.
In all these years we have founded and developed the Bible Institute for transformational Leadership. Our ministry focus is the revelation of the person of our Lord Jesus Christ and his work on the cross with an application in the development of leadership and ministry.
Our target group are pastors and young leaders. We reached them both through travelling to their home churches or ministries as well as offering seminars and courses locally.
Since March 2020 we have moved our Ministry Headquarter back to our hometown (Espelkamp) in Germany. We have started to offer our various seminars and courses on-line.
Currently we are establishing the Institute in Germany and England whilst continuing to reach out into South America.
For that purpose we are translating our material into German, English and Portuguese.
Our Bible Institute has twelve modules with the following content:
- The transformation of the cross
- The kingdom of God and his righteousness
- Romans 5-8
- The glory of the new covenant
- Resurrection power
- The life of Jesus
- The centrality of the cross
- The leadership of Jesus
- Our new identity in Christ
- Ministry under grace
- The Love of our heavenly Father
- Steps into leadership
Gerd has also written a book (Abundant life – the miracle of Jesus in our hearts) that we are preparing to sell as an E-book via Amazon.
Rosi has homeschooled our four children for the past 16 years.
Next to the overall leadership of the ministry she does hospitality, personal discipleship, administration and public relations.
