„to follow the Lamb wherever it goes..“

“This is the place, my true home, where I belong,” I remember thinking as His presence filled my living room in Sydney, Australia. In that moment, at the age of 21, I encountered Jesus and chose to entrust my life to Him and follow Him.

The very next year, in 2016, while traveling from Australia to New Zealand during my Work & Travel, I began to sense a deep call in my heart to attend a Bible school and grow in my relationship with Jesus.
What was originally meant to be a one-year stay at BSSM in Redding, California, turned into two life-changing years. After that, I decided to put what I had learned into practice and moved to Orlando, Florida, in 2018 to support the Christian ministry “Jesus Image” as a deacon in building a church and a Bible School.

At the beginning of 2020, I returned to Germany and started working again in the hospitality industry, as I had originally studied as a hotel professional.

What I first thought would be just a short season of reorientation, building finances, and possibly returning to ministry turned into six and a half years —a season of divine hiddenness …

„God the master weaver — He works all things together for good.“

During this time, not only did my trust in Him deepen, but I was also able to experience personal healing and grow in my faith. It was a formative season of being equipped and of spiritual maturation. In addition, I was able to gain valuable experience in the area of business knowledge, as I started my own business in photography and marketing for a period of time.

In mid-2024, I unexpectedly developed a desire to learn the Japanese language, which led me to attend three semesters of language classes, with one to two sessions per week, at the university in my hometown of Freiburg, Germany.

In 2025, I decided to visit a Japanese friend in Tokyo, with whom I had lived in a shared House during my Bible school years in Redding. What was originally planned as a two-week stay in September turned into a total of three months, during which I supported him with my gifts & experience in his young Church, Bible & discipleship school, and Community Café. As I left Tokyo, I already knew that I would soon return to continue supporting “Awakening Asia” in building churches, the Bible & discipleship school, and the Community Café.

Song of Solomon 8:5
„Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved?…”

I truly find it beautiful to gradually see how God has been leading me since my decision to obediently follow Him, equipping me both in matters of faith and in business knowledge. This has enabled me, now leaning on Him, to effectively use all my gifts and talents for His Kingdom in Japan.

My desire is to equip and pastorally support Christians and churches in Japan so that they may come to know their God-given calling, grow spiritually, and live a life in the fullness of Christ. Furthermore, I carry a deep passion to equip believers to bring the principles of the Kingdom of God into the business world and to spread the Gospel there as salt and light.
