Simone (born in 1981) is a nurse and Martin (born in 1975) is a lawyer. Since converting at the ages of 16 and 17 they have been on mission trips to China, Mongolia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Albania, Turkey and more. These experiences left them with one important thought, “We want to serve God abroad!”
Married since 2003, M. and S. have four children: Sarah (Jan. 2007), Karoline (Dec. 2008), Isaak (Sept. 2011) and Anna (Nov. 2014).
Preparation for Mozambique included a school for mission in Luedenscheid, Germany, which they participated in during 2004 and 2005. They left for Mozambique in September 2007.
From 2010 on they live in a small coastal town and reach out to the rural muslim people. They have regular bible studies each week with interested muslims from the surrounding villages.
Their focus is the teaching of the new believers, because their hearts burn to see young Christians strengthened!
