ABOUT US
Dirk and Samanta met in their final year of secondary school, founded a working group People for people in Stuttgart and supported development aid through public relations. After gaining experience there, they founded the association Justice for Africa e.V. and implemented support for self-help projects in West Africa (mainly Gambia).
This included, for example, the reconstruction of an elementary school, the construction of wells and the establishment of permaculture gardens. Through their time in development aid, they realized that in the future they wanted to primarily work in spiritual need in order to be able to help people in a truly sustainable and long-term way.
In 2018, they became part of an OM team in Southeast Asia, in a country where Christians are persecuted. There they gained valuable experience in church planting and discipleship programs. In 2020, they came to Germany for the birth of their third daughter and became part of Globe Mission. They served as pastors and trained leaders in a church for their time in Germany. In early 2021, the family of five left for Mexico to train church planters and missionaries and plant communities of Jesus followers together.
ABOUT OUR MINISTRY
With the founding of La Ola de Fe A.C., we have launched a ministry that trains interdenominational church planters in Mexico for the national,
as well as for the intercultural context.
We conduct practical courses on church planting (church planting movements) and go right into application with the teams. In our preaching we are creative and dynamic, always developing new methods and media to respond sensitively to different circumstances with the message of reconciliation. La Ola de Fe also has staff in Southeast Asia and Colombia planting churches and/or running discipleship programs.
