We help shape a young generation that has hope for the future
Hi, we are the Kunert family with Matthias, Edith and our four children Ben, Joel, Kaila and Cahtrine.
We have been working on the small island of East Timor in Southeast Asia since 2017.
Our heart beats for children and there are many of them here. The poor school education and little prospect of work are a great hardship.
The focus of our work is to help shape and strengthen a young generation with hope for the future.
What wo do:
- We offer a Kidsclub in our district several times a week
- We support and accompany local churches in their children´s ministries
- We offer children´s stuff training with the aim of creating more children´s services in the villages
- We translate “Hope for one” children´s materials into the local language, which should be freely available to other children´s ministries and churches
Our vision
Our desire is that every child in Timor has the opportunity to regularly hear the good news of Jesus in a way that they understand and experience positive change.
