Background and vision
I grew up in a family of believers. Over a period of 10 years during my schooldays and in various practical tasks in different areas of our church I learnt to follow Jesus and to trust and believe in God. During my adolescence my desire to fulfil the great commission grew. I finally made my profession my calling. I want to give hope and life perspective to neglected children through pedagogical aid. Fatherless and lost children shall experience the mercy, grace and saving love of our heavenly father and shall be encouraged to become strong and devoted followers of Christ.
My main tasks today are the training of local Christians, evangelism, working with children, their pedagogical education and guidance in worship as well as teaching the word of God.
Goals and implementation
My goal is showing children and adolescents in Asia a long term and sustainable way out of social and spiritual poverty through mercy ministries and discipleship.
The emphasis is on slum- and street children, children slaves, children workers, handicapped children, for their faith persecuted children and adolescents. Through holistic support, the goal is not only to reach the boys and girls, but their parents as well.
That happens through home visits, individual help for families, covering tuition fees and in single cases medical help. The children’s personal development is supported by placement in small groups similar to families.
Local Christians are encouraged and led into this mercy ministry. Together we want to excite children for Jesus, make disciples and prepare them for the biblical, self-multiplying great commission.
